Trey Wilson accepted to Belmont University in Nashville
Trey Wilson, Uvalde High School senior, has been accepted to
Belmont University in Nashville for fall 2008, where he will pursue
a Music Business Degree at Belmont's Mike Curb College of
Entertainment & Music Business (CEMB).
One of the hallmarks of the music business program at Belmont is its
vast internship program, which sends hundreds of students annually
out into the Nashville music industry to intern for record labels,
management companies, publishing companies etc.
Besides having three professional quality recording studios on
campus, Belmont owns The Belmont Studios (formerly known as Ocean
Way).
Belmont also operates the historic RCA Studio B (formerly used by
Elvis Presley, Roy Orbison, and Dolly Parton), in conjunction with
the Country Music Hall of Fame and the Curb Family Foundation.
Among the many prestigious Belmont alumni includes country music
artists Josh Turner, Brad Paisley, Lee Ann Womack and Trisha
Yearwood.
